Sundays

Buddies ministry helps ensure EVERY child and student can fully experience church. As a volunteer, you’ll become a one-on-one “Buddy,” paired with a child or student in the disability community to offer support and encouragement during a service, so families know their loved one is valued and included. If you have a heart for those with disabilities, this could be a great place for you.

Our Kids’ teams have the chance to impact the next generation by showing them they belong. From rocking babies and snack time to playing games and helping with technology, there are so many ways to serve! Student Ministry volunteers lead activities, games, music and more for 6th-8th graders on Sundays at West Side. This team points students to Jesus during a pivotal time in their lives. (An application process and background check are required.)

Our production team is responsible for all the work to make Sunday morning happen in our worship services. From running slides and lights to managing sound and livestream, you play a key role behind the scenes. West Side’s Administrative Volunteer Team meets each Wednesday morning to perform a variety of administrative tasks — everything from counting out kid’s ministries supplies, collating handouts, assembling furniture and anything in between.
