Community and friendships were something I had been praying for. Serving at West Side opened the doors for me to find it. Along with gaining community, walking beside high school students has been rewarding as they deepen their relationship with Jesus and navigate life!

Volunteering is what allows me to express my love for God and help others do the same. I want every kid that walks through West Side's doors to know that they have a Father that cares about them.

Once I started volunteering, I realized it benefits me as much as those I serve. Volunteering helps me feel closer to God and others, and I've built so many long-lasting friendships as I serve. I love giving back to a church that helps so many!

When I was asked to serve as a Section Host in the Worship Center, I gladly said yes! I love connecting with others and sharing stories. I have been blessed by new friendships with other volunteers that have grown beyond the walls of the church!

Volunteering has created an incredible community for me on Sunday mornings. It's given me the chance to spread smiles, joy and the love of Jesus with every cup of coffee I serve. I love meeting new people, sharing stories and connecting others to West Side!

Volunteering at West Side has been a foundation that helped me find my community and several lifelong connections. The Production Team has allowed me to share my skills and talents with others with the same values. Serving at West Side has become a part of my identity as a Christ follower.

I love to teach, and more than anything, I love to teach kids about Jesus! I'm thankful I can volunteer by loving kids and singing praises with them. They get to learn Bible truths and make friends while their caregivers can worship freely, knowing their kids are cared for by people like me!

I volunteer at West Side because it's a great way to make meaningful connections in a large church while doing my part and having fun. It's so fulfilling to play a positive role in the lives of kids!

Volunteering gives me a chance to be a friendly face people see on Sunday mornings. I want everyone to feel loved and welcomed at West Side. I've met so many people by volunteering and getting involved that West Side doesn't even seem that big anymore!

I volunteer because it is what we are called to do. Because of God's kindness and generosity to me, I can share and impart that same kindness and generosity to those who need it. I want to help instill the value in kids that church is where everyone is welcome and that God loves us!
