When we love and care about people, sometimes we struggle to help them understand the strength of our affection and concern. In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul is trying to help the readers know the magnitude of his gratitude and prayers for them. He is also trying to convey his hope that they will understand the depth and greatness of God’s power. In today’s passage, he says:
“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 1:19-20
Have you ever had an experience that reminded you of God’s POWER? Take a moment to remember that God’s power, demonstrated through raising Jesus from the dead, is more powerful than anyone or anything else today.
